Win Money To Make Your Big Ideas A Reality In vitaminwater's "Project Hustle"

By Megan Weyrauch on March 19, 2015

Do you have big ideas but lack the means of turning them into reality? Now there just might be a way for you to put your creative, innovative plans in motion.

Aspiring entrepreneurs, artists-in-training, dreamers and future film directors: Project Hustle, the crowdfunding-inspired program by vitaminwater, is calling you to prepare your elevator pitch for the opportunity to see your dreams become reality with the chance to win $500,000 (across 10 finalists) to bring them to life, according to a recent press release.

Submit your business idea at ProjectHustle.com between March 12 and April 30 in one of the following five categories: music, film, fashion, art or technology. The top 10 brightest and best ideas will be chosen by a panel of judges.

Alternatively, invited guests have the chance to deliver their business pitch live between March 18 and March 21 at the FADER FORT in Austin, in a unique “elevator” activation that is a first for this event, according to the press release. This simulated elevator is designed to “capture and record an elevator pitch in a setting that physically represents the theme of Project Hustle.”

The public will decide this summer which finalists will potentially have their projects funded up to $50,000 each through codes on vitaminwater bottle caps. Beginning in July, participating vitaminwater and vitaminwater zero bottle caps will contain a code that consumers can enter online at ProjectHustle.com; each code has a specific value that can be allocated to one of the 10 finalists’ projects.

In addition, every valid code entered wins a prize that is tied to the value of the code, ranging from vitaminwater, tablets, wireless speakers, streaming music and video subscriptions, tickets to top festivals and more.

“Project Hustle is our way of supporting the dedication and tenacity of our most driven fans, hustling to make their goals and dreams reality,” explained vitaminwater Senior Brand Manager, Ryan Robertson, in the press release.

vitaminwater hustled its way from a small start-up in Queens, so we understand first-hand that hard work is the only path to success, and now we want to support those at the beginning of their journey.”
