Top 10 Ways to Procrastinate during Finals Week

By Jess Nocera on December 3, 2014

Thanksgiving break is sadly over. That means the single worst week of each college semester is quickly approaching.

Finals week is a week when students live in the library and wish that coffee could be fed to them via IV drip. A week where students forget what the outside world looks like as they try their best to learn or re-learn everything from the entire semester. Since college students are professional procrastinators, finals week is no different in the endless game of putting off responsibilities.

So, with that being said, here are the top 1o ways to procrastinate during finals week.

10. Check out this website.

It’s filled with funny pictures and interesting products. For example, it is possible to purchase a self sustaining aqua farm. Because I know I can’t live without a self sustaining aqua farm.

If you aren’t sold yet to go on this website, check out this gem of a photo of former president Bill Clinton.

Forget about tanning or studying, but hitting the gym during finals week is a great way to procrastinate and shed some of the weight gained during the semester. Body health is just as important as doing well in school.

6. Create a bangin’ study playlist.

Create a Spotify account and go nuts; make several playlists while you’re at it. Make sure your playlist has a good balance of slow and fast songs so you don’t fall asleep as you’re studying or you don’t get too involved in the music. Here’s a Disney example.
